It corners like the Lamborgini Diablo; only it’s a lot slower and takes the turn a whole lot wider. Oh yeah…and it has a tendency to flip over. Otherwise, they’re exactly alike.
Reminds me of guy I got in a police pursuit with. He was driving a 81 Mercury K car POS. I was in a 5.0 Pursuit Ford Mustang. He had just pulled an armed robbery at a truck stop. I got in behind him and on when the chase at the incredulous speed of 64 mph. It was as fast as he could go on the flats. When we got to hills he slowed to about 50. My knuckles were white from gripping the wheel at those incredible speeds. Pursuit terminated after about 4 miles. Took us nearly an hour to get there. (ha)
That is one thing I cannot stand either it doing the dead like that. 1960 Bug huh??When I was over there in 73 I was road marching my M88 Recovery Tank down a road. I watched as the Bug pulled up to the entrance and came right out about 50 feet ahead. I was at 35 tops and knew I could not slow that 56 ton tank. I could see two faces look back thru the port hole rear window, arms waving about when that spade on the front nailed them and luckily lifted up the bug keeping me from running over it. Finally got it stopped, they got out chunking beer in bottles at me cussing me out to no end. I just closed the hatch till I saw the MPs with the German Police show up.
I had a brand new Beetle in Republica Popular de Angola in 1981. I was told by a German associate it was a ’67 in all but name. Germany sold everything to Sao Paolo, Brasil where they kept making them.

According to the price, there was already a lot of “cornering”…

You’re fine sir, as long as you make only right hand turns.

At that price I doubt it will get up to a speed that you will need to worry about the cornering.
