Reminds me of Bill Cosby’s bit about Custers last stand, Sitting Bull won the coin toss.

Custer was an egotistical idiot.

This is exactly the way Bill Cosby described the attack on Custer.

Custer’s last words: “Did you ever see so many dang Indians?”

Yea; as the history(?) books used to say: The Calvary won a glorious battle when ever THEY won; but if the First Nations people won it was a massacre…. Those that win in the end: Write the history AND ‘right’ their history….

Custer was not a general when he died. His rank of Major General was a,“brevet”, rank bestowed on him during the Civil War.

After the war, he received the rank of Lieutenant Colonel which accurately reflected an officer of his age and experience. He was allowed to keep the honorary title of," General" but at the Little Bighorn he died a Lt.Col.

Why am I suddenly craving custard?
