I had a professor in college whose wife presented him with triplets her first pregnancy, twins the second time, and against all odds, triplets again, a couple of years after the twins.
The wife was not on any fertility drugs and there was no history of multiple births on either side of the family.
All the children grew up healthy and happy. Needless to say, it was an interesting and noisy household when they were all small.
