Been there done that

When I was 10 our TV broke and mom didn’t get it fixed for two years. Those were the best two years as our family talked more with each other, played games, less fights, etc. Just goes to show that supposed ‘progress’ is a two edged sword.

I noticed that all the political ads have started up. I kind of have the same reaction too.

Throwing it on the ground is just littering. Think I’d look for a particular pol and drop it on that person. Solve two problems at one move.

I see he saw Trump’s latest briefing.

He’s strong to be able to lift one of those over his head.

And then there was Elvis and his 357 remote control…

He wants to see the picture tube go “boom.”

No, the gym is closed down, so I have to improvise.

Re-runs, re-runs, re-runs.

i still have my old tv like that, but have kept it because it has built in vhs player and i have bunch of vhs tapes including about 100 old movie serials from 30’s and 40’s

Nothing on that TV, because it can’t decode the digital broadcast signal; so “yes.”

We “used” to hate those summer re-runs.. Now we get years and years worth… and, to add insult to injury.. still have to endure commercials.. one would think that by the 4th or 15th time they would be shown for free.

Me, being forced to watch CNN.

Finally, I’ve watched it all. Now, back to the comic books.

Actually, he just bought a new TV and he is just trying to save the $20.00 the store wants to charge him for hauling off his old set.

I don’t have annoying commercials to watch and I get to chose which shows/movies I want to watch. How you may ask? I cut the cord/cable years ago & wound up saving hundreds of dollars as well.
