She must have been talking to the doctor and decided it was time to check out his life insurance. What are she and the doctor not telling him???

Things look poor for this fellow, since we are already in 2021.

For all intents and purposes, Herman is a dead man walking; His was a shot gun marriage with his betrothed holding the gun and the marriage license.

She: I don’t mean there’s anything seriously wrong with you. Just sayin’ is all

He: That’s OK. I put everything in BitCoin.

I let my life insurance run out a couple of years ago when the insurance company raised my rate from about $100 a month to $750 a month. My wife’s premium only went up to $450 a month. Since then, we’ve been adding $100 a month each to a joint savings account with my son who is the executor of our will in the event of simultaneous demise of my wife and me. There is enough in there already to bury us.

I am still working full time. One of the benefits is a life insurance policy – I wonder how much they are paying on that!

What good is life insurance if I can never collect on it?

I love dark humor. I also sold life insurance for decades and, uh, saw this story too many times.

Poor thing. This means he’s worth more alive than dead. She’ll have to change her plans.

He’s still alive, so that’s not as big a problem as letting his health insurance lapse.

Now tomorrow it might a bigger problem, but then that would be actually be your problem, more than his.
