Bixby: Listne, Moxie, my rates going up. I get 20% of your paycheck now. Moxie: Hmmm... taking a bigger fee is the same as stealing from me... and I have a hired thug to deal with people who steal from me! Bixby: Joke's on her. I get 20% of Tyr's paycheck, too...
So this series starts out and Moxie points out Tyr is broke. It sounds like her $50 a week is all he’s making, so Bixby is only $10 off Tyr. Although technically he didn’t get Tyr the job, that was an independent hiring without the agency’s involvement so the joke’s on Bixby cause 20% of nothing is nothing.
