That’s my husband with comics. Most of them he doesn’t “get,” which never ceases to amaze me as he is an intelligent person!

That’s where GoComics comes in handy. It has helped me understand strips I didn’t get.

I went to one of those infamous HP book parties when I was younger-I think it was for The Goblet of Fire-it was awesome.

Olivet is not his granddaughter

Unfortunately, I lost the original of the March 14, 2013 strip that Robb sent me after he mentioned my great-great-great grandfather, Peter Filatreu Cross, by full name twice. I lost it when I had to suddenly move because my sister sold my mom’s house out from under her. Peter was an assistant engraver at the U.S. Mint in Philadelphia in the late 1840s and 1850s. >

I always thought the point of this is that that it’s a really lousy strip and Joe’s dad is one of the few people who actually likes it
