No PS, BP did not intentionally cause the explosion but this is what happens when unregulated business skips certain steps to save money. Big business is not inherently evil but it is an uncaring entity that only cares about the bottom line. Google the “three little pigs documents” to see how BP calculated that it was cheaper to possibly lose some workers than pay for proper safety protections in the Texas refinery explosion that killed their workers. Perfect example of why we need strict government oversight.
