I have set up a live webcam of the winter den of Ernesto Lopez, a local global-warming denier. I have been observing him over the course of the last hour's weather. After an hour, my hidden speaker will stir him from his hibernation. Wake up! If he doesn't see his own shadow: 6 more weeks of weird weather. If it's global warming, why is it snowing outside?!
Charlie, I think you misunderstood the point of the elliptical orbit comment. It was that such an orbit produces VARIABLE climate changes throughout the sequence of its orbits. At least that’s the way I read it.
