I recall an instance in which the county sheriff raided a strip club because, in his words, “the girls weren’t wearing any pastries.” That’s right. Not pasties, but pastries. I couldn’t help envisioning strategically placed prune danish …

I could never grasp the appeal of strip clubs. The concept has always struck me as supremely unsatisfying, frustrating.
