Well, this is a nice new twist to the simple banana peel slip. From a broken spine to a jumpy heart. Now we know where Lio got his sense of humor.

Is that a banana peel on Lio’s nose, or a baby squid?

Well we now know what kind of humor appeals to dad, it is not often that he slips one over on Lio, but when he does, it is a bunch of fun.

The banana peeling in the last panel reminded me of the face-hugger from Alien. Kinda apropos for this comic.
