    I remember watching The Blob on TV with my younger brother. I think we were both teens and nobody else was home and we weren’t scared by it. In fact, I had this hilarious idea when I realized the blob looked like — a certain trademarked gelatin dessert. Many years later, I was delighted to see a very similar idea in a live-action Scooby Doo movie, when Shaggy and Scooby realized the monster threatening them was made of … whipped cream, as I recall.
