Not every ’toonist can de-value their own work. Nice, Blazek !

Well, when using Photoshop, obviously, a picture loses value, you can not trust what you see.

A picture is worth just 60 or so words on Twitter.

Well, a picture is worth a thousand words, but saturation has led to overall deflation. A thousand words is paid a lot less than it used to be.

Either the picture is worth less or the words are worth more.

Actually, if you allow for inflation, it’s more like 1500 words.

    1) Silence is worth more than either. Silence is golden!

    2) But never mind words and pictures… what are the values of Bitcoins and similar CON-currencies?

Maybe we need to enlarge our vocabularies.

Brevity being the soul of wit, I think the value of words decreases as the number of words you use increases. The newscaster’s dialogue in this cartoon is a case in point: It would be a lot more effective with 13 words instead of 17. The phrase “news has broken that” is unnecessary (in addition to being really awkward).
