Pop Art. For a lark, my brother and a friend (who was actually a relative of Peter Sellers) went and got an old door and glued a bunch of junk to it, hung some fishing net on it and entered it in an art display. I think it went for $100.

There is a “chewing gum alley” in San Luis Obispo". It’s pretty disgusting and gets steam-cleaning periodically.

Sidewalk Gummi Bears is a great exhibit piece, too.
Remeber the fresh banana duct taped to a panel or wall or something.
