I’ve flown regional airlines in foreign countries. The United States experience does not compare well.
Our airports are a disaster. I was at Charlotte last week where the walking time between terminals is 22 minutes for Olympic athletes when the moving sidewalks are working. The last time I went from one terminal to the other, 4 out of 7 weren’t. Then there is the seating: 80 seats for two gates in one terminal and 200 seats for 8 gates in another. That was adequate when Piedmont Airways was flying DC-3s in and out.

For God’s sake, don’t give the airlines a new idea on how to gouge us for more $$$!

Take Amtrak or Greyhound. Just as adventurous traveling and you’ll see more country that way.

Ask the airlines whether they want to get in a bidding war for your business.

bidding war?…why bother…just duke it out once you get onboard!

No, but we defiantly want an inside seat at whatever price. I’m not riding on top again.

Wait until you get on board and decide it by armrest-ling.
