Hmmm… that sounds like the worse of both worlds. Time for another change, I think.

You could always try the Crazy Knute Plan.

Not related to today’s strip (although I think a few male Luann commentators would agree with Knute) but if Gunther were going to change his “look” and attitude it would probably be more effective in a social venue with girls who hadn’t met him before and drawn previous conclusions about what he’s like. Life isn’t like the movie Grease, where a “square” girl putting on a leather jacket and a lot of makeup suddenly becomes one of the cool kids.

Yet Gunther is the best choice out of all the boys in the strip for a future partner. Go figure.
