… and their not sleeping in Brad’s room because…? And if you or the strip says “because it’s a diaster area”… well yes but then make him clean it like a responsible young man.
This was exactly my childhood. I would come home from school and my aunt’s shoes and bag would be in my bedroom. No one knew how long she would stay, and I had to sleep on the living room floor or sofa. Sometimes she stayed for months. Only my room would do. No advance warning. My parents allowed it. She didn’t take their room and privacy away.
Frank and Nancy won’t allow the grandparents to sleep in their bedroom (which is probably the nicest) while they bunk with the kids? That’s what would happen in my house when I was growing up.

Why not give them Brad’s room in the first place. And remember, the wall between their two rooms is pretty thin!

My parents gave me a double bed when I was about 4… so visiting relatives could sleep in my room. I had to sleep on the rollaway.
