Poor Frank. Always portrayed as the punch line. Greg? Karen? Can you un-doofus him once in a while? The strip has evolved such that when he turns up, a dull, dud, dad joke ensues.
Years back l knew the son of Miller Barber, a golf star in his days. At 12 years old, he hustled season golfers in La Canada, Calif. Don’t let looks or age fool you…..
Good grief! You couldn’t pay me to dress that way in public (well, maybe if the payment was a LOT). But there’s no rule that a player has to dress in that or similar fashion, is there (either the classic plus-fours [it makes me think of The Three Stooges]; or as the typical American Dad, like Frank)? This isn’t Wimbledon. I figure that if James Bond in “Goldfinger” just dressed casually and not in a “uniform”, that’s good enough for me (of course I don’t play golf).

Kinda reminds me of when Luann’s dad went to buy a pair of sneakers.

I just glanced at the first panel that came up as a preview. I thought it was a crude, early version of Knute!
