Tiffany reads a question from her history test. "What was the most important result of the Boxer Uprising of 1898?" Tiffany writes, "Many years later, it caused a student to miss an answer on her history test."
Maybe someone noticed this five years ago, but the so-called Boxer Rebellion wasn in 1900. It was basically a resistance movement against foreign exploitation of China, and once it was clear that a coalition of all the great powers of the time were crushing both the insurgents and the Imperial Army, Empress Dowager Cixi immediately disowned the Boxers. The Manchu Dynasty was finally overthrown in 1912.
