Toni: "I read a survey that said married people are no more happy than single people. Same with people who have kids and those who don't. Make you wonder what happiness is" Brad: "I don't think it's a situation. I think it's a point of view" Toni: "Wow. Deep" Brad: "I remember once when I was a kid. My mom asked me what made me happy. I said, "pancakes." She said, "Not ME?" And was kind of upset. But then my dad said, "Honey, you make the pancakes." Toni: "Ah. So she changed her point of view and was happy" Brad: "No. She got upset at dad. So maybe you're right about married people... Is there a pancake place around here?"
Love how Brad’s attention wanders from Toni to pancakes. Thus, history repeats itself.
