TJ: "I was at Weenieworld when inspiration hit: I'd take your old job and give Ann Eiffel some payback" Brad: "Payback?" TJ: "Y'know, mess with her head, give her a dose of her own medicine" Brad: "By doing what?" TJ: "Dunno yet. But Eiffel's met her match. TJ's in the house!!" Brad: "Skirmish of the schemers. Should be good"

Let’s get ready to RUMBLE!
ComicLaff about 13 years ago
I hope it doesn’t backfire.
Chuck373 about 13 years ago
Since TJ has no ability to think anything through, I have a feeling that his plans will cause a catastrophy. He will do his best to NOT follow orders. In the end, it will cause injury to his co-workers and probably damage the resturaunt by fire. Of course, the blame will be on him. He will never accept that. After all, he was just there to screw with Ann’s head. Doesn’t matter to him how many bodies fell in his wake.
Chuck373 about 13 years ago
Ever here of a W-2? To work in a fast food joint, you don’t have to do much more than have the ability to write your name and address and sign. Ability to speak english is usully optional.
ZacBSM about 13 years ago
Looking forward to this arc – should be interesting!
Chuck373 about 13 years ago
I’m still trying to figure out what is so bad about Ann. So she plays seduction games with her employees. Could be fun. She is very pretty. And she asks he employees to work. Heaven forbid! I’ve had bosses that cause employees to leave the room in tears. By comparison, working for her could be a dream.
mlf2112 about 13 years ago
I got this one. He owns the Wemie World Corp. Which is a large Francise as we may or may not know. He just wants to have a little fun befores he shows Eiffel the door.
Chuck373 about 13 years ago
Brad is in his “Happy Place”. He doesn’t care what TJ does. This time he’s glad not to be involved – at least until his company is called to put out the fire at WW and they start counting up the injured; fire fighters included.
manabouttown about 13 years ago
Remember what Ann Eiffel said; “You amuse me, TJ , sign here”. I don’t think this serpent of a woman is going to be such a soft touch as TJ thinks…
DontDoThat about 13 years ago
This will only end in tears. Not sure who will be crying, though….
Sisyphos about 13 years ago
Never underestimate your opponent, TJ. Ann Eiffel has more experience in serious messin’ than you do….
AnonymousUser about 13 years ago
Or… they might feel a spark between them…. What a unlikely nightmare.
Detroit1967 about 13 years ago
TJ will accidentally cause a fire at WW. Brad & Company will arrive on the scene and Brad will end up rushing into a burning building to save Ann’s life. This in turn, will cause sparks to fly in Brad and Toni’s relationship when Ann turns into Brad’s stalker. Ann perceives Brad’s rescue of her as an expression of his love for her. End result? The mother of all cat-fights between Toni and Ann.
Mongo about 13 years ago
TJ has a plan?
Well, we know this won’t turn out well.

I’M gonna ENJOY watching “Iron Annie” CRUSH You underfoot, You PARASITE!
imbaldeagle about 13 years ago
Yeah, Brad thought HE could “handle” Ann – now TJ is gonna take a turn.
kenwarnerfordictator about 13 years ago
Like I said yesturday, this is was too simple. I just KNOW that Greg is going to surprise us with a plot twist that none of us can predict!
Cronkers McGee Premium Member about 13 years ago
TJ is always talking while Brad is busy working. What is up with that? Also, is revenge sweet? Personally, I do not think so. Revenge always ends up hurting you. I will wait to see what happens.
Varnes about 13 years ago
Hey, this has potential…I’m looking forward to it. And yeah, sparkin’ and courtin’ are in the cards…
Cofyjunky about 13 years ago
I’m hoping T.J. didn’t sign that ‘contract’. After all, who’s to say his ‘antics’ might not get him sued???? Eiffel IS a sneaky you-know-what.
Airman about 13 years ago
Taming of the Shrew, Part 2. Time to take a break in this storyline and get back to Tiffany and the airport.

It’s TJ… It will backfire… but it will be amusing to watch it unfold…

pumpman19 about 13 years ago
Does anyone know what TJ’s “day job” is? Other than cook for Brad … does the guy have any real income source?
bobgreb about 13 years ago
Here’s an idea. Brad and Toni are walking past WeenieWorld, and see it is on fire. They call 911 and then rescue Ann Eyefill and T.J.who are overcome by smoke, all before the help arrives. Take the story line from there.
Dragongirl2319 about 13 years ago
Brad is right, this is going to be good.
photogirl800mm about 13 years ago
hmm… maybe he will let her come on to him, then get her for sexual harassment! :)

Forget the legal stuff………..these two are on a crash course for some very hot, back office romance.
The Old Wolf about 13 years ago
This really does promise to be good. TJ has all the street smarts in the world, but Eiffel is the consummate business shark. TJ’s a rascal, but I get the feeling he really has a good heart underneath all his skullduggery. Eiffel is an evileyed – blackhanded – bowlegged – flinthearted – clawfingered – foulbellied – bloodthirsty… well, since you’re all hasty folk, a class-a b*tch.
mojitobaby about 13 years ago
Exactly what Chuck said – it’s either a W-4, I-9, at-will employment agreement or any number of legit forms you sign at hiring.
Since there is no sort of “legal form” that Ann could whip up that would cover her actions if she harasses or abuses TJ (even if he agreed), that form will have nothing to do with the action that’s about to unfold.
Greg’s legal is never that explicit – the only time I can think of his citing anything specific is when Tiffany complained Luann violated her Constitional rights when she recorded her boasting that she cheated on a test, and that never went anywhere. His “legal” doesn’t pass any sort of scrutiny, which is exactly why you never saw what Ann wanted Brad to sign, and it was never explained. That’s because it wasn’t important in itself, the only reason it existed was because Greg needed a device to wake Brad up regarding Ann’s motives, so that he could quit WW on his own – it’s implied it was somehow underhanded, but that’s all that it really needed to be, see? ;). Trust me, there will be no legal hook ot sting here, and no one will be suing anyone.
Kathe about 13 years ago
and it is the comics after all……..real life doesn’t always apply here
Dabit about 13 years ago
Accessory to a TJ harassment of Ann charge is a long shot, but, would be messy for Brad & his sweetie. Brad might be wise to ask TJ to back off.
Kathe about 13 years ago
my thoughts on the story line, as I expressed a few times:
TJ gets a job at WW….which has now happened.TJ & Ann become an item?TJ brings Ann to the house as his date resulting in a lot of tension for Brad & Toni which TJ brushes off as he has a so-called “plan”?Maybe an accidental fire at WW?A rescue of Ann by Brad? And then we go from there to……?
DDrazen about 13 years ago
TJ might want to wait until the recession lightens up a little bit more. In hard economic times, it’s not a good idea to screw with employers … OK, let me rephrase that….

What? Hook up with her?

This will not end well.

Ha! TJ’s gonna fall under Eiffel’s spell big time!
tickled about 13 years ago
As we predicted or guessed, TJ started the games. We all know it’s going to end bad, but so many options, so many twists that Greg has at his disposal. We’ve given him the fire and rescue option, but what about Brad’s parents inviting, Brad, Toni, and TJ to dinner and TJ brings Ann as a guest. Oooh, uncomfortable. How about TJ cooking at WW, Ann lures him in the office for a second, fire breaks out, but it’s already hot in the office, and Brad and Tonis’ fire stations respond to rescue the two, but unfortunately TJ and Ann were trapped, die of smoke inhalation. I know, I know, that’s too cruel, but it would open up a spot for Toni to move in with Brad, therefore, as I said, killing 2 birds with one stone, and WW rebuilds, and everyone enjoys life. I know sick and cold hearted. On a lighter note, TJ sets Ann up with Dirk.
Squoop about 13 years ago
Both are schemey, the diff is TJ has a heart and Ann is an evil narcissist.
serenasakitty about 13 years ago
Why does everyone think TJ is going to start a fire? He may have started one at the house but it was an accident and he seemed to feel badly about it. Burning down WW would not only be illegal, but could possibly get someone hurt or killed. He has never shown any desire to physically hurt someone. Besides, does he really have anything against the other employees, who would lose their jobs as well?
falcon_370f about 13 years ago
TJ’s good at saying “Did I do that?” with a nasal tone of voice (Family Matters for those who don’t dig where I’m coming from). I just think this revenge plot is going to get very interesting. One scheming mind against another, this could get very very interesting. Remember, TJ is also good at turning disasters into success, remember the archway and painting the living room black?
Chuck373 about 13 years ago
I think it would totally blow Brad’s mind to come home and find TJ and Ann making out on the sofa. Actually, I think TJ would enjoy it more to hook up with Ann rather than submarine her.
terrycox51550 about 13 years ago
This might be a romance made in h… you supply the rest. ;)

Let’s get back to Luann enough with this fireman stuff
scorpy007 about 13 years ago
I do feel that this will be a clash of the titans….and i have a feeling that they will be attracted to each other. I just had a thought….can you imagine Tiffany encountering Anne Eifflel??
Popeyesforearm about 13 years ago
I think this is a good plot twist. Almost like Greg Evans is reading all of the posts here and following our lead. They’re usually about 2-3 weeks ahead of the publish date but the Luann readers are pretty good at speculating the outcomes of each plot. Hope TJ turns her Weenie World upside down. This is a family site or I could include more than a few suggestive plays on words.
LinTX about 13 years ago
It’s unfortunate that Greg is featuring an arc on revenge. Not good values to be featuring in a family strip. I guess we still don’t know where TJ REALLY gets his rent money from, if this job is just a farce and he has the free time to be putting on this “payback” scheme…
LinTX about 13 years ago
Didn’t TJ already burn down one kitchen he was working in? WW may be the next, and there will be Brad to put out the fire!
Airman about 13 years ago
The only fire we’ll see is the one TJ is going light in Ann.
roderickyoung about 13 years ago
I may be a minority of one here, but I have no interest in seeing payback or revenge. If I wanted that, I don’t need to read comics – I can just see it every day in real life. And I dislike it as much there, too. I’m just glad that Brad and Toni are good now.
gracnote about 13 years ago
This is my first post here. Has anyone brought up the question of how TJ has earned a living to this point? Like Kramer on Seinfeld he has no visible means of support. What gives??
Doctor11 about 13 years ago
Take her out, TJ!
Tinyman about 13 years ago
@CHuck373Actually it would help if a someone from another country spoke english. The would have to know how to make the orders that came in unless the person at the cash register also spoke the language. I worked in a BUrger King and several languages wer spoken. Aprox 1/2 the adults were Polish. Some were Pakistani.

Let’s see if Ann falls for TJ
Jan Liron about 13 years ago
OR – he could double sales and Ann Eiffel finds herself out of a job and TJ is offered her job, which of course he declines.
