Since TJ has no ability to think anything through, I have a feeling that his plans will cause a catastrophy. He will do his best to NOT follow orders. In the end, it will cause injury to his co-workers and probably damage the resturaunt by fire. Of course, the blame will be on him. He will never accept that. After all, he was just there to screw with Ann’s head. Doesn’t matter to him how many bodies fell in his wake.

I’m still trying to figure out what is so bad about Ann. So she plays seduction games with her employees. Could be fun. She is very pretty. And she asks he employees to work. Heaven forbid! I’ve had bosses that cause employees to leave the room in tears. By comparison, working for her could be a dream.

Brad is in his “Happy Place”. He doesn’t care what TJ does. This time he’s glad not to be involved – at least until his company is called to put out the fire at WW and they start counting up the injured; fire fighters included.

TJ will accidentally cause a fire at WW. Brad & Company will arrive on the scene and Brad will end up rushing into a burning building to save Ann’s life. This in turn, will cause sparks to fly in Brad and Toni’s relationship when Ann turns into Brad’s stalker. Ann perceives Brad’s rescue of her as an expression of his love for her. End result? The mother of all cat-fights between Toni and Ann.

Here’s an idea. Brad and Toni are walking past WeenieWorld, and see it is on fire. They call 911 and then rescue Ann Eyefill and T.J.who are overcome by smoke, all before the help arrives. Take the story line from there.

This really does promise to be good. TJ has all the street smarts in the world, but Eiffel is the consummate business shark. TJ’s a rascal, but I get the feeling he really has a good heart underneath all his skullduggery. Eiffel is an evileyed – blackhanded – bowlegged – flinthearted – clawfingered – foulbellied – bloodthirsty… well, since you’re all hasty folk, a class-a b*tch.

Exactly what Chuck said – it’s either a W-4, I-9, at-will employment agreement or any number of legit forms you sign at hiring.

Since there is no sort of “legal form” that Ann could whip up that would cover her actions if she harasses or abuses TJ (even if he agreed), that form will have nothing to do with the action that’s about to unfold.

Greg’s legal is never that explicit – the only time I can think of his citing anything specific is when Tiffany complained Luann violated her Constitional rights when she recorded her boasting that she cheated on a test, and that never went anywhere. His “legal” doesn’t pass any sort of scrutiny, which is exactly why you never saw what Ann wanted Brad to sign, and it was never explained. That’s because it wasn’t important in itself, the only reason it existed was because Greg needed a device to wake Brad up regarding Ann’s motives, so that he could quit WW on his own – it’s implied it was somehow underhanded, but that’s all that it really needed to be, see? ;). Trust me, there will be no legal hook ot sting here, and no one will be suing anyone.

my thoughts on the story line, as I expressed a few times:

TJ gets a job at WW….which has now happened.TJ & Ann become an item?TJ brings Ann to the house as his date resulting in a lot of tension for Brad & Toni which TJ brushes off as he has a so-called “plan”?Maybe an accidental fire at WW?A rescue of Ann by Brad? And then we go from there to……?

TJ might want to wait until the recession lightens up a little bit more. In hard economic times, it’s not a good idea to screw with employers … OK, let me rephrase that….

As we predicted or guessed, TJ started the games. We all know it’s going to end bad, but so many options, so many twists that Greg has at his disposal. We’ve given him the fire and rescue option, but what about Brad’s parents inviting, Brad, Toni, and TJ to dinner and TJ brings Ann as a guest. Oooh, uncomfortable. How about TJ cooking at WW, Ann lures him in the office for a second, fire breaks out, but it’s already hot in the office, and Brad and Tonis’ fire stations respond to rescue the two, but unfortunately TJ and Ann were trapped, die of smoke inhalation. I know, I know, that’s too cruel, but it would open up a spot for Toni to move in with Brad, therefore, as I said, killing 2 birds with one stone, and WW rebuilds, and everyone enjoys life. I know sick and cold hearted. On a lighter note, TJ sets Ann up with Dirk.

Why does everyone think TJ is going to start a fire? He may have started one at the house but it was an accident and he seemed to feel badly about it. Burning down WW would not only be illegal, but could possibly get someone hurt or killed. He has never shown any desire to physically hurt someone. Besides, does he really have anything against the other employees, who would lose their jobs as well?

TJ’s good at saying “Did I do that?” with a nasal tone of voice (Family Matters for those who don’t dig where I’m coming from). I just think this revenge plot is going to get very interesting. One scheming mind against another, this could get very very interesting. Remember, TJ is also good at turning disasters into success, remember the archway and painting the living room black?

I think this is a good plot twist. Almost like Greg Evans is reading all of the posts here and following our lead. They’re usually about 2-3 weeks ahead of the publish date but the Luann readers are pretty good at speculating the outcomes of each plot. Hope TJ turns her Weenie World upside down. This is a family site or I could include more than a few suggestive plays on words.

It’s unfortunate that Greg is featuring an arc on revenge. Not good values to be featuring in a family strip. I guess we still don’t know where TJ REALLY gets his rent money from, if this job is just a farce and he has the free time to be putting on this “payback” scheme…

I may be a minority of one here, but I have no interest in seeing payback or revenge. If I wanted that, I don’t need to read comics – I can just see it every day in real life. And I dislike it as much there, too. I’m just glad that Brad and Toni are good now.
