Not so much neurotic as paranoid … and with reason.

I’m feeling like I called it.

Neurotic and paranoid and with no reason. Since she’s already said she didn’t want a relationship with Quill, he should be free to date anyone, even Tiffany if he wants to.

Does it show?

And where is Tiffany? Did she make the movie? Did George Clooney hit on her? Did Brad & Angelina try to adopt her?

…. and he’s not neurotic about her spending new years’ with no one knows who?

more important is for Luann to see is that SHE IS Quill’s type and he is Luann’s type

Luann spent New Year’s Eve with Johnson Pinecone.

It’ll be interesting to her Tiff’s side of the story.

Haven’t seen our resident “teacher” here much lately.. No surprises with Quill, he’s made his preferences plain concerning the two girls right from the get-go.

Luann was his ride to the airport. Who provided the ride from? And Tiff did not share this ride? And Tiff did not try to pressure Quill into romance at all after they were out of Luann’s sight? Hard to believe.

Make him tell you everything, Luann. You know Tiff will try to tell you a story to upset you. You need to be able to call her on any of her lies.

Marry Luann? So you can be interrogated and viewed with suspicion if you ever come home a half hour late? No thanks.

I am so courious as to whats parts they plyed. I would love to see if Gregg and i have the same way of putting Tiff somewhere way in the background and Quill the center of the action. Good for you Quill "NOthing happened as far as you and Tiff goes.

Gregg I hope you had the bestest vacation. You deserved it. vacation. You deserved it.

Can Greg just make a spinoff strip called “The Wacky Hijinks of Brad and TJ”?

@mjhanna, I am amazed at the efforts of the cartoonists who manage to constantly keep us entertained. Greg just returned from a well-earned vacation and I’m glad he can accomplished one strip, much less do a 2nd. He does a good job of getting a look here and there at the various groups of characters and we can wonder and imagine scenarios about the others in the mean time.

The Green-eyed Monster laughs at logic. Doesn’t matter how much L KNOWS that Q isn’t interested in T: she’ll FEEL jealous. Benefit from the wisdom of my ancient years!

I love that he is not teasing her, rather- he is easing her worries, but getting a bit of a giggle out of it…strokes his ego without hurting L…and how did T get home? didn’t mention the ride home from the airport…

today’s jealous man(or woman) is tomorrow’s lonely fool.

I like that Quill opens doors and stuff for Luann…he’s a gentleman in most respects like that :)

I bet Quill was using earplugs the entire time that he was on the plane, and made a break for his uncle’s car the moment he was off the plane and had grabbed his bag.

and so a new year begins……wonder what Greg has in store for all his characters……I’m looking forward to it. HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE

Tomorrow: either Tiffany will fume that the trip to LA was bogus and she did not get in the movie, “How dare they not pick me? ME, Sheraton St. Louis!! I am famous! I am A-lister!” or tell everyone in school about the made-up romantic trip she had with Quill.

@JerryTheK – Somewhere a week or so ago I speculated that everything in LA would happen offstage – or rather, not happen – and that the entire drama would take place in Luann’s head. I’m usually nowhere near correct in my cogitations, so I was gratified to see the story pick up in this way.

I do not know how Greg Evans can sustain such a successful comic strip for so many years. Not only does the art work get better, he must juggle several story lines, for extended periods of time, making sure each 3-pannel chapter is clever. I’m impressed. I also enjoy most of the comments that appear in this forum, but what I don’t understand is why some folks attack each other in such a nasty way. Bitter? Jealous? Bullies? Doesn’t everyone have a right to their own opinion without being verbally stomped on?

oh for crpsakes. he’s a stud, and she’s too stupid to figger out how to give him what he wants. lets either have tiffany and/or luann pregnant and quill gone to Oz, or dump this thread. i (like most folk at one time in their lives) was 16 once, and this is ludicrous. get real, get condoms, get interesting. or get back to the Weenie World.

@Pharmakeus Ubik: Suppose Johnson got Luann to read “The Taming of the Shrew” with him. Wonder how that ended up.

Wow Luann is looking VERY attractive today, Shoulders back, Tight Sweater and Jeans. She looks better today than Tif does on her BEST day. also loved her 60’s look yesterday.

Quill cuts to the chase, gets to the root and talks straight. Quite rare in males and females, I reckon.

Did Quill mean Plugged IN?? or, what does plugged mean?

1st panel, they’re inside. 2nd panel, they’re outside coming in, 3rd panel, they’re inside again. Seems out of sequence to me, unless they went out for a quick smoke.

Luann has to deal with this jealousy. Quill is in no way attracted to tiffany. He is attracted to luann. She shoud realize this and let it die. It will get frustrated and boring quickly otherwise. I have also noticed that they seldom ever use cell phones. I don’t know a girl her age without a phone glued to her hand with txt and internet all on it. I think Greg needs to hang around some teenagers every once in a while. See whats changed since he was a teen.

Believe it or not this is the only strip I read. I love it so much!
