Ketchup is a bit thicker in consistency and might hold the olives on.

Say what you will. But the decorations look sharp. Another thing, TJ is a gourmet chef. So his food creations will be good as well. Possibly excepting that bikini weenie. :-)

I don’t think the author understands how fast food chains are run or managed at all. This isn’t a privately owned joint; I’m pretty sure upper management doesn’t allow cashiers to randomly redesign and rework the menus at one of their restaurants without approval. This isn’t about squashing creativity, but about protecting the brand, keeping the company from being sued, addressing safety issues, etc. If Ann doesn’t know this (and hasn’t fired TJ by now for his multiple transgressions in the past), then she really shouldn’t be a manager at all. But I guess if this particular strip reflected reality at all, it wouldn’t be “funny,” if you can call it funny in the first place. I just call it lazy writing. You can make something funny while still having at least somewhat based in reality.

Reading the Wikipedia description of TJ, we learn his father went to prison, got out, left TJ a large bank account, and then fled the country. Sounds like the money is illegal, and TJ’s account will be found & reclaimed by his father’s victim. Then TJ will actually NEED his job at WW. Oh, won’t AE have fun with him then!

Late August seems like an odd time to start a summer promotion, and the idea of putting bikinis on hot dogs is, as is par for the course here, icky and borderline disturbing, but let’s hope that once he’s humiliated Ann Eiffel again, Greg can finally let go of whatever rejection he’s getting revenge for. Get some help, Greg.

His original idea was to bug Ann. His drive to succeed seems to be contrary to his original plan. Although, his ability to always be right seems to drive Ann crazy.

Everyone keeps wanting Ann to get fired and for TJ to take her place as manager. Personally, I’d like Ann to get fired and Mrs. Degroot decide to get a job out of the house now that Brad moved out and Luann’s old enough to not require constant supervision. Then Nancy Degroot can be Weenie-World’s hot new manager! TJ wouldn’t be gettin’ away with all this if THAT happened!
