If 35 is old, what am I???

At 60, I am a fossil, apparently.

She could be older. A lot of girls don’t get chests that size till they’re fifteen, sixteen, or even older.

Actually, she’s about six, I believe. At 14, she’ll definitely be old enough to wear a bra that size.

Or, how about those Maidenform ads where women were always having a dream that they were in public and wearing nothing over their bra!

Nice play on the relativity of Age. As Sportymonk noted, “old” usually means “at least X years older than me.”

That means old must 90 or something, right?

I get the impression that there are a lot of young posters here that think they are the be all and end all of civilization, too. They have all the answers. Unfortunately, many of them haven’t learned the questions yet.

Husky51, the average age for a girl getting her period is 12-13. But girls usually aren’t full grown yet for another couple of years. If I remember right, Miss Snottypants is 5. So she has some time.

And I don’t think Luann is a mother figure. Big sister, maybe.

They said they found a way to slow the aging process. I wish they come out with it now so I can remain looking 52!

HEY Luann – 85 is the NEW 35. I’d like for my wife and I to be OLD 35 again!

Kind of reminds me of the scene from “When a Man Loves a Woman,” when Meg Ryan is sobbing profusely, “I’m gonna be forty!” and Billy Crystal reminds her, “…in eight years.”

Old lady is 65. 35 is “mature.”

i remember luann when she was a little kid, probably about shannon’s age. the strip has had the group age pretty naturally, as the “for better or for worse” group did.

When you’re in love, you are NEVER old! I’m proud to be 75 and just a little (9 mo) older than my lover.

HeyI am 65 going on 66 so i am totally irrelevant!! One thing i want to mention is that Luann is getting closer and closer to Toni, and to Toni’s little niece, and we know the story behind that little person. Her father is a total irresponsible mess, and the little girl is cute, obnoxious, and needs some love and direction, and along comes Luann. And Toni and Brad are in an adult relationship, as adult as a family strip will allow. How much longer will Greg make us wait before they are engaged, and married even???? I am figuring 2013, after the election, like everything else that seems to be on hold in the world. (lol)

“Old” is a relative concept. I met a lady a couple of years ago who was in her early 90’s and there was nothing old about her outlook on life and living. I also know women in their 30’s who act like their life is at an end. It’s all relative.

I think it is time for Luann to continue on and finally start college.

People who tell others to “grow up” usually, if not always, need to grow up themselves.

No. Luann was in Pitts elementary school when this strip started. She was only about 7 or 8.

“remember it”? Hell, I worked in the plant that MADE it. But then, at 72, bras don’t matter much to me…

The correct answer is never. Never! You will always be a tiny little child forever longing to be an adult.

When I was in my 20s – I used to think anybody with gray hair had about five years left to live.

ummm for the record, Luann was 13 when the strip started, and now she’s 16… took her almost 30 years to age 3

My 7 year old just came in the room and said. “My leg cracked, I’m getting old!” Lol!
