Transcript:
Rosa: "Well, I got accepted you Yale"
Bernice: "Yale is HUGE. We should be leaping for joy, right?"
Delta: "Yet Rosa's on the edge of tears"
Luann: "So what are we doing? Leaping? Weeping? What?"
If Rosa’s family can swing it, financially, she should go to Yale. with Skype, E-Mail, and VOIP, etc. staying “in touch” with Gunther wouldn’t be a problem. That said, Gunther needs to make it clear’ Where they stand’ AND ’Where he wants this to go.
Many Girls waited “at home” while the Guy want off to school to secure a future for the both of them. It DID work sometimes (My Mom and Dad for example.) But it was the letters from home, the visits, and a CLEAR understanding of what they were BOTH working toward that made it manageable. Also Family support is a necessity. My Dad’s Sister was Mom’s best friend and kept things “on track” a time or two. That’s why she’s my God-Mother.
Here’s hoping Gunther and Rosa are strong enough to see it through.
