Is that a skirt or a Scottish kilt Knut is wearing? Anyway, when is his and Crystal’s apparel EVER ordinary?

So, Dr. Teeth and Wednesday Addams are still in the strip, at least for the throwaways.

Just talked about these two yesterday in the comments. I guess I was right that they haven’t been written out. But they HAVE been relegated to Sundays. :)

one great couple! they know what they like about each other.

First of all mark me as surprised that Knute and Crystal are both attending the Pittsville Community College. I thought they were done with school after high school.

Second of all mark me as surprised that Knute’s obsession with cleaning bathrooms has reached a point where he just walks around wearing latex gloves.

Third of all mark me as surprised that Crystal would ever carry a handbag that was both giant and gray.

Ah… How cute.

They have matching elbows.

I’m so we get to see them. Also, someone was wondering what they were doing and it clearly says in the background Pittsville Community College. Whith them going to the same school as Luann, I don’t know why we can’t run into them more often.

yeah! Knute and Crystal are back. But what’s this… they’re at the Pittsville community college. Have they been enrolled there all this time? How did they ever survive Prof. Bobo horrendous art class?

They just have too much money and time to spend on their appearances, it’s all superficial in the end.

For some, “Halloween Protocol” can seem redundant.

so that is why Crys does not see Tiif, but Lue sees often both Bern and Tiff, so is not an excuse.

Crystal is an enigma to me. She is quite an attractive woman. But here, at college age, she still seems to hang out only with Knute. And we’ve been led, frequently, to believe that their relationship is platonic. Meaning not romantic at all. A while back, one of them said to the other, “We don’t date. We hang.” Or something to that effect.

Crystal is not a self-conscious, uptight one like Tiff. So I don’t think that kind of attitude is keeping her from having a real romance.

… That’s the logical view. But in reality, I think the Evanses just like to keep their situation static so they can come in handy for Sunday episodes like this.

What’s worn under the kilt? Nothing, it’s all in perfect working order.

Finally, Greg dropped the name of the community college. Pittsville Community College.

Interestingly, the town was always called Pitts, now it is Pittsville.

So Knute, what do you wear under your kilt?

I miss Crystal. It would be nice to see a storyline starring her.

Absolutely wonderful to see Knute and Crystal! Even if only for a Sunday. For their Halloween costumes, it would have to be a “Jones NY” for Knute and a “Tom Ford” for Crystal.

Do you call this Halloween costumes?.

I’m Not sure whether Knute is paying Homage to William Wallace or Flavor Flav, or both.

One thing for Sure, They Both have Grown a Lot Taller……,

Although it isn’t standard for the Sunday comic to follow ongoing storylines, this will probably be the “arc” for at least the next two weeks.

Congratulations to whoever called Knute and Crystal’s appearance today yesterday. (I’m too lazy to go back to look.)

Uh, Knute? The whole point of disposable gloves is that they’re… disposable! You put them on when you need them and throw them in the trash when you (or who/whatever you’re working with) no longer needs the protection. Just sayin’, dude…

By popular request, we see Crystal and Knut again! Let’s hope they make it into the dailies, instead of staying stuck in the Sunday one-offs.

Knute, a cross between William Wallace and Flavor Flav

In high school Knute always dressed like a wannabe surfer dude — baggy shorts with a pull-over shirt. He never dressed strangely. So his appearance here seems a little unlike him. As for Knute and Crystal being so conflictless that they lack a place in this series… Sometimes a strip needs a mature person to balance the cra-cra of the lead. We’re seeing Dez do that in the weekly strips. There’s no reason why Knute and Crystal can’t maintain a small presence in the strip offering sensible comments to Lu and Bee. But conflict is in the eye of the beholder. Since Knute never used to wear a kilt there’s a weeks worth of story about why he’s taken to wearing one. Is he Scottish? Does he like the breeze between his legs? How does Crystal feel about her BFF wearing “woman’s” clothing? (I know a kilt is not woman’s clothing which is why I put in quotes. But a lot of people do confuse a kilt with a skirt so Crystal might have an opinion about that.) They could even argue whether they’re friends, BFF, friends with benefits or lovers. As I think about it, there’s more to Crystal and Knute then there is to Gunther and his mother. Less Gunther, more Knute!

Dumb…

I see we’ve found the one person who looked at Flavor Flav and thought “Wow, what a great idea!”

Well, that does explain why Knot and Crasstal don’t usually appear anymore: they attend some other school.

If that’s supposed to be a kilt, he needs a sporran to go with it. Unless that’s what that thing is hanging around his neck. And I don’t believe that’s where it goes!

The Little Couple That Could, Crystal and Knute, have moved on from Pitts Junior and Senior High (sic) to Pittsville Community College (sic). Sounds like gentrification to me!

It’s not how one dresses. It’s what’s inside that counts. I’ve seen and experienced such sweet “weirdos” repeatedly….

I love evta and Rrything about Crystal and Knute, particularly that they are a couple of beautiful opposites. And I think that are passinately in love as well. I really would love to see them more often, with a story arc, and maybe being healing with Tiffany, who is Crystal’s friend. It is a pleasure to see them.. Now Greg, how about Delta and Rose?
