So many ways the week can continue.

Oh, Gunther, you’re acting like a juvenile middle school kid. Be mature and play smart with Les. You can push his buttons and play him. And beware, Les has his own game plays too and he is known to be aggressive. But you are smarter so use that brain to conquer your nemesis to win Tiffany, who I happen to think is not interested in Les anyway, but Les is very hopeful and hope is powerful.

Yawnther is trying to be Mr Tough Dork here so I don’t think Less will have a chance to say anything. I want to tell Yawnther to “bug off” for once!

@JPuzzleWhiz: No, the “goat” in Wizardgoat doesn’t mean “Greatest of All Time”. (Even if there were some truth in it, I’d not be so vain – ha ha.)

“Goat” is because I’m a Capricorn Sun sign, and “Wizard” is because of my interest in metaphysical studies.

From yesterday, on allegation that Tiff was flirting with Les:

Sorry, Gunther, but she’s at the Kafe Kablooie, which means she was there to see Les. If she wanted to see you, she would still be spending time with you seeing Star Trek reruns, which she now does with Bernice.

And so it begins!

With Gunther’s last remark – it’s hard to maintain hope for Gunth & Tiffany. Seems like Gunther can only relate when privately playing Dr. Phil to Tiffany. As soon as the real word creeps in – Gunther starts thrashing in the water.

Well look, Gunther didn’t “Explode, Cry, or Stammmer as Many Detractors Predicted. Whattaya Surprise! (Rolls Eyes)

But look at Les in Panel’s 1 and 2. If THAT ain’t “Rage and Jealously” building, then I don’t know what is. Oh and Les’ “Later” is just Him trying to Claim What He THINKS is now His “Property,” in front of Gunther. (Yeah, Gunther’s “She’s Talking to Me,” kinda is too, But I’m ignoring that and so should You)

This reminds Me of those old Famous Studio cartoons were Popeye and Bluto fought over Olive Oyl. Particularly that one where The two fought in a Barber Shop, trying to get “Clean shaven” to impress Her, but in the end, Oyl choose another guy with a beard. (Hmmmmm, Gunther’s got kind of a beard. Maybe)Could it be that Gunther and Les will spend the rest of the year and beyond fighting and competing over Tiffany only to have Her choose someone else? Like that Piro Guy.

PS: It too bad Tiff left so soon today. It have really boosted Her Ego to See two guys FIGHTING Over Her.

Neither of these young men have earned Tiff’s romantic interest (as yet), but then that doesn’t stop either from laying claim to his “property”. Typical boyish behaviour that I have seen often in my school and college days. Some things will never change!

I suspect you’re mistaken about Gunther. I think he’s a virgin, who’s been afraid of physical relationships.

In high school, Gunther dated Rosa, because he wanted a girlfriend for social reasons. Maybe they even danced on some occasion. But when she embraced him and kissed him “goodbye” in Peru, he was standing straight and looked quite shocked. I’ll bet they’d never kissed before. See episode:

But it was evident that they both got embarrassed while reading a lesson on salamander sex, and they did nothing themselves.

After high school age, when dating relationships are much more likely to become intimate, Gunther has had no girlfriends. His friendship with Tiff has been platonic.

At least Gunther has developed jealously over a woman other than his mother. It is an improvement of sorts.

Oh Gunther, please grow up. If Tiffany was talking to you. She would have said, " See you later GUNTHER "

This is a needless love triangle

Les is scowling. He still hates Gunther and Gunther obviously has no use for Les. So it looks like this arc is going to devolve into them fighting over Tiffany and Gunther being a jealous idiot who’s misunderstanding what’s going on.

I generally like Luann;however, this is one arc I am not overly thrilled by. I love Tiff, but Gunther V Les is a bit bothersome. It’s like listening to two chihuahuas.

And so begins the saga I alluded to yesterday.

If “petulance” is declared a science, Gunther will win its first Nobel Prize.

Green and purple don’t go well together.

Well, well, well, those posters who thought that Tiffany’s weight gain somehow made her less attractive to young men are definitely contradicted by this panel, with the obvious competition between Les and Gunther over her attention. It is not clear that Les interest is based more on a desire to settle emotional scores with his mom, and Gunther’s romantic interest is always hard to place given his neurotic behavior, but all that being put aside, They fighting over her attention, that is clear.

My question is: What is Gunther doing at the Fuse, anyway? (He seems dressed up a slight bit, too – not wearing the typical flannel shirt).

Les won’t spill anything to Gunth or anyone – he promised that to Tiffany. Otherwise, they’re BOTH acting rather immature…

Gunther is a chubby chaser.

No matter how much weight Tiffany puts on she’ll never be happy with either Les or Gunther as a boyfriend. Les is somewhat weird and Gunth is a wuss. (at least I wouldn’t be interested in either one, and she’s better looking than I am)

The arrogance of young men. They think they are able to choose a woman. Women are like cats. You don’t own the cat the cat owns you.

I love Gunther’s jacket, but I’m female. Do any of you heterosexual men dress like this?

smart move Tiffany, removing yourself from potential trouble.

I’ve given up on Gunther. He’s a disappointment and an embarrassment to me. Weeks in Peru with Rosa, very hot Rosa, and no fireworks. How could he resist? And, now Tiffany……better to have made some kind of move on her and gotten rejected than to do nothing at all. I know. I know, we can’t be sure, but to me, Gunther is as pure as the driven snow.

Gunther’s left hand is already clenching into a fist.

I am not sure if Gunther wants to woo Tiffany or is acting over-protectively.

As our new heroine rushes off to do battle with the Wicked Witch of the Lingerie Scam, two gallants fight (or nearly so) for her favor. What could be better?

You Know, I’ve learned something today.

I mean, here I am thinking that Gunther’s “She’s Talking to Me,” line in panel three, was merely an amusing punchline to close out today’s strip. When in Reality, according to some ‘astute’ members of our forum, Gunther was: "Behaving like a Jellied, Immature, Juvenile, Middle School Kid, who acts like a big baby, selfish child; a Mr Tough Dork, beset with Pathological Personality development. Furthermore, Gunther is a jealous idiot and total ass because He made Poor Les “Scowl” when made the Unpardonable Sin of Telling Tiffany, the object of Les’ Lust, How Glad He was to see Her out and about and how nice She looked."

I understand now and glad that’s cleared up.
