You know? If I didn’t know better, I’d say that Les has absolutely NO control over this cat. Is that considered “normal,” you “cat folks?”

At any rate, I’m slowly but surely beginning to LIKE this cat!

Gunther, in his ongoing effort to try to please Les, plays “Cat Scratch Fever”. With the volume control set at 11. Doesn’t everyone’s amp controls go to 11?

Wow, special milk for Punk today, special litter earlier—Les is trying to be a responsible cat dad. It’s great to see! I hope he can get Punk to stop jumping on his head, though. Not a good habit. Now, if Punk turns out to be a shoulder cat, I think Les would love it. =^;^=

Cats can be trained, especially if you get them as kittens.

Unfortunately, my son trained his cat to be mean.

I hope Les doesn’t do the same.

He’s right. Cats shouldn’t drink regular milk. You can buy “Cat Sip” for them.

Les is actually right here. As much as cats love milk, they are actually lactose intolerant. Don’t give your cats normal milk. They love it, but it is bad for them.

I think Gunther’s stoned, judging by the way his eyes have looked the past couple of days.

My kitten has left me a mass of scratches. He jumps on my shoulders and then slides down my back. He’s asking for a quick return to the cat rescue centre.

This may be a break through for Les to “grow up” if Gunther would mute the commentary.

Sigh. My first cat was the same. I still miss her, she was so crazy and so sweet. Les want only the best for his kitten. They are really cute together ♡

Interesting that Gunther has the ability to completely turn his head around without turning his shoulders.

Cats are like that, Punk loves Les, and it’s cute. I like Gunther’s comment, is it sarcastic in tone? Not sure. I do know I am ore a dog person, and plan at 73 to get my first dog, as a buddy. Dogs do buddy really well. Any ideas guys? Still think something is imminent, Greg does misdirection better than old Fran Tarkenton.

I had a loving cat jump on my head before. Yesterday’s strip was exaggerated, but today’s strip is right on.

One of my cats always jumps onto my shoulders as soon as I get within range. My shoulders are covered with little claw punctures. Love hurts.

Everyone needs someone to love, even (especially) Les.

More like, “YEOW!” Get off me, you little beast!"

My kittens have done this many times. I’ve never given them up. Now that they are adult cats, I have learned to never put my head down when they are above me.

Greg puts as much effort into showing the creepy, ex-bully in a good light as he does pulling the carpet out from under Tiffany.

Punk was attacking the mullet.

This fool has no business around any animal.

It’s been awhile since Gunther has been depicted just studying and not the focus of the strip. Just sayin’!

I hope this is leading somewhere.

I love kittens. They’re so cute and funny. But I just don’t have the energy (or patience) for them any more! I adopt adult cats now.

1…..2…..3…..breathe.

Okay. Enough already. We get it. Les is a cat person. Now, maybe, on to something actually interesting…?

Tomorrow,Punk walks across Gunther’s keyboard and wipes out 3 different term papers at once. They say dogs eventually look like their owners.Les’ kitten is just aping its master. That extended paw is kitten for “I’m sorry”.

Aww look. He’s playing.

Les is being a total punk by attacking a cat.

Owning a cat comes at a price…not talking about food and kitty litter.

He loves you Les and has decided you are his person. That is a great compliment.

Interesting actions today and hypotheses about them:

1. Special “Cat Milk”? Must be a California thing. :) In my neck of the woods, cats eat cat food…. usually dry kibble and water. They only get milk when someone leaves their bowl from a bowl of cereal lying around and there is milk left in it.

2. But seriously…. adult cats do not need milk, nor “cat milk”. And, by this time, Punk is well past weaning, so he really does not need milk or “cat milk” either.

3. We are seeing more of the “kinder” side of Les again…. he likes Punk so much that he is spending some of his hard earned, dishwashing “The Fuse” money on fancy-schmancy “Cat Milk”.

4. The jumping Punk does is all due to being in a playful mood. But…. Les seems to be taking the action much more negatively than seems warranted. This makes me wonder a bit…. is he just mildly aggravated and will get over it in a few minutes….. or is he angry in a way that means he wants some sort of drastic change of some sort? I am presuming he will get over it in a few minutes…. but the way Greg portrayed it seems a BIT STRONGER than a “will get over it” response.

5. Gunther’s “computer space” looks awfully damn uncomfortable if you ask me…. no knee hole and the counter top does not look like it has any sort of extensive overhang. I think it would be annoying to try to work there.

Leslie Knox is probably getting his information at the pet supply store.They are probably have a refrigerated cat food section!Leslie can Google cat behavior but i doubt he would.

Gunther will finish his University courses and leave the “Guest House” to Leslie Knox and Punk.

After all, Les, you’re the one who named him “Punk”.

Parenting is hard (and when the ‘child’ will never actually learn to talk and has the approximate intelligence of a 2.5-year-old, even more so)

Kittens will be kittens.

Just guessing…Greg or Karen may have recently adopted a kitten.

I like the Moe and Punk storyline but Caldonia is right; there are already cat comics.

The danger here is the possibility of following the path of Overboard, which was hilarious (till every strip became about the dog) and is now tedious.
