That’s on you for paying attention to texts while driving, Drew.
Actually drew sent the text saying she was on her way.
The person sending the text can’t know what the person receiving is doing. Only the person receiving is responsible for choosing to look at it or respond.
She didn’t have to check her phone. How would Lila know she was in the car. Take some responsibility for your actions.
I have a terrible habit of looking at my phone when it dings as I’m driving. Not good.
I’m constantly looking at my phone. I can’t believe that I used to have a full life without it ;-) Damn that Steve Jobs!
You can have your phone read your texts to you and you can dictate texts also.
They have an “off” app that should always be used when driving.
Oh, really Drew. You were driving. You shouldn’t have been looking at text messages. You were lucky. Many have died for making that mistake.
No law says you have to answer — let alone read — texts while driving, Drew.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again…Drew is not a good friend (to Lila).
I thought the whole point of texts was that they didn’t have to be answered immediately. Unlike actual calls, which you miss if you don’t answer.
