I’m not an NFL coach and I never will be – aside from not knowing a lot about the game, there is my feeling about personal fouls and unsportsmanlike penalties. They are avoidable. They are also a sure sign of the player’s lack of maturity: “This is all about me. I scored the touchdown; those other 10 guys don’t mean anything. I can celebrate my victory and someone else can deal with the mess of the 15-yards I just gave to the other team.”
These are the players that need to be fired, not those who protest. The message of selfishness they send to our youth and adults is “deplorable.”
