I’ve assembled things based on instructions written in a language that uses some of the same words as English. It was easier than using the pictographs that come with some items. The Rosetta Stone can’t even help with some of those.
What’s even worse is then the instructions are out-and-out wrong. I’ve gotten good at taking pictures of things as I disassemble them and label them 01.jpg, 02.jpg … and bagging the screws in bags marked 01, 02 …
