If you don´t see it, it is still there.

Generally, if you leave them alone, they will do the same.

They can be really fast. A survival skill.

I like spiders. I always pick them up and put them out of danger.

In my next life I want to come back as a spider. So I can hear the words “OMG that thing is huge!”

Household tip. Our living room is open to the second floor of our house. The ceilings are 20 feet high which is much beyond the reach of the dusting tools usually available. Spiders like to make their webs in the corners. So we borrow the telescoping aluminum pole to which we attach our various pool cleaning tools. The duster fits down the barrel of the pole perfectly.

There is a set of windows and indoor shutters on the second level. We have a tool to open and close the shutters to block or let sunlight in (depending on time of year). We’ve never opened or closed these windows. So we recently had a contractor come in and paint the window trim and then caulk the windows shut. They still look nice, but now we don’t have drafts from them.

I like to watch them outside….but come in my territory, you’re a dead spider walking!

Worse. Hearing a Cricket 24/7 inside and not being able to find it.

My wife has a picture of a spiderweb and spider on a wall by the door – “Don’t worry Spider, I clean the house casually”.

Spiders are good. They eat bugs.

Hate to be a downer here but spider eggs are borne on the breezes and including in your house. You breathe them, but the body automatically takes care of them, so you are not at any risk….but they are there.

I hear ya! One summer night I was asleep and woke up to what must’ve been a fairly large spider race across my chest! Talk about getting freaked out!!!!
