You may have to take out a second mortgage to go to the major parks. It’s gotten so crazy high from the parking to the tickets, to all the concessions. We took our daughters to one and dropped a 1000$ in one day, not including lodging. Some great memories, but a little sticker shock for a family from a small town in the west.

I enjoyed my career, but I never had as much fun there as with my kids.

Being retired means that you never have to take time off to do anything.

Make the best of it, Dad! Treat both your wife and your child to the Mr. Hero husband and dad you can be!
