Great to hear from you yesterday! I didn’t get online in time to answer on the Tuesday strip…. so I hope you see it on today’s.

I’ve been thinking about it…. I think it was just as well… and probably better, that Fleshy was all green till yesterday…. and apparently some other posters here agree.

Especially if Meddick wanted him to reveal himself to all of us when he pulled off the mask… We weren’t sure if we were right, so it was a revelation…. and more so to those who hadn’t guessed.

Fleshy has been known to squeeze himself into some pretty impossible places … I had no problem believing he was wearing a whole skin-tight costume, and not just a mask.

I’d think it would be even MORE one-sided… I mean, a surprise to Sedgie but to none of the readers, had his pink skin been showing all along.

So I think it was perfect…. and it looked great. You do an amazingly good job on Monty — it’s hard to believe you colorists work under such impossible time constraints.

What surprises me now is that Sedgie doesn’t seem to recognise Fleshy anyway…. I remember them knowing each other well enough that the kid tried to brick the cat into a cell in the basement.
