I think cats can read people’s minds. Usually my cats loiter about in their regular places at specific times. But when one of them has a vet appointment, that cat hides when it’s time for me to take it.
I’ll say one thing for Monty. Scores of adventures/experiments which consistently end in abject failure has never soured his child-like sense one of them will surely be the light at the end of the tunnel…. regardless of how often they turn out to be the headlight of an oncoming train.
Both red suits, eh? Self-proclaimed “mentalists” use this same cold-reading technique to claim success no matter how badly they fail. For example, facing a large audience, one of those charlatans will say something like “I’m getting mental vibrations of someone called Bill or Billy. Does that mean anything to anyone here?”. Chances are good that at least one person out of 200+ will know someone of that name and speak up. But if that doesn’t happen, it’s on to “Maybe it was Will or Willy. Anybody?”. And as soon as someone speaks up, everyone will have forgotten the miss about Bill or Billy. These techniques have been refined for over a century and continue to gull the gullible.
Monty is beyond help. No calmative Big Pharma has ever over-priced will tranquilize him sufficiently! I have little doubt that Fleshy has a higher I.Q. than Monty. Tuna!

A “Vulcan Mind-Meld” between a Vulcan and a cat is almost always fatal. For the Vulcan.

Fleshy looks like he has better things to do than entertain Monty’s silliness lol

To get a proper scientific conclusion, you need to carefully interpret the data.

I established a Mind Link with a cat, one time.
Only message I got, was ‘’Feed the Cat’’.

Another Jedhi mind trick that didn’t work. As Chevy Chase said, “Be the ball”.

Fleshy is getting alarmingly big. Did he get a massive dose of radiation, like the Amazing Colossal Man?

I really wish Fleshy had normal cat eyes. :)

Sixty years ago, my dad used to play this with us kids. The younger ones were much better at us than us older ones.

Cat telepathy only works one-way and subtlely. Your only hint is when you suddenly notice you are working a can opener. :)

Monty’s brain is very open to this kind of thing. Fleshy probably could hypnotize him. :)
