Moondog’s memory must be pretty bad since he had to draw a map.

I’m going to guess raccoons will find his candy first.

Actually, I think he’s saying he’ll just buy more candy, as he ate all that he had while he was searching for a place to “hide” it…

I knew an alcoholic who hid his whiskey while inebriated under the pretense he wouldn’t be able to find it when he sobered up.

Moondog made me think of “The Gold-Bug” , a short story by Poe. Seems like I read it in grade school.
