So his altar ego is functions in the pulpit.

Years ago… Pastor Tyrone, good friend, nice guy. But when he got in the pulpit his voice took on pious tones – drawing out vowels and sounding like a caricature of a 16th century Puritan.

That’s the beer and Texas chili from last night.

Altar ego. I like that. I may be using that this Sunday.

I normally shy away from altars.
