As predicted, yesterday was pretty quiet. I never even went outdoors except to clean out the litter pans.
Does anyone remember Walter Farley’s book “The Black Stallion”? I ran across it on Kindle and bought it and read it in one afternoon. It was as much fun as I remembered. Turns out he wrote a total of 21 books, most of them about the Black or his progeny. The original he started while in high school and published while still in college. It was an instant hit among young readers. I’m not sure whether or not I’ll get any more of them, though.
I think today I’ll do what Chris did yesterday: make a list and go shopping for Thanksgiving dinner.
