Thanks Guy - for keepng these old memories of mine alive. I’m in my mid 70s and have been reading Nancy since about 1950. I missed a few years, and times have changed, but I’ve been here this time for about 15 of your years and you’ve never disappointed me. Nancy, Sluggo and Fritzi are still much the same as they were. I know that Fritzi is now a music lover just as I am and Phil is back (that was a pleasant surprise-I like Phil. I wrote you guys years ago and reminded you about one of Ernie’s old strips where Nancy and Sluggo kept passing by a scarecrow who seemed to be getting fatter and fatter each trip only to finally discover a pumpkin growing in his trousers — where I come from the praise, “…swallowed a pumpkin seed” meant someone was pregnant. You sent me a nice thank you note. Thanks for those years of enjoyment and congrads on 21 years of great work.

Yeah, when Guy stated I missed the old Jerry Scott format, but Guy has done a wonderful job making the strip his own. I especially like his Muppet cameos. I’ll have to check out the video about his TV pilot when I get a chance.

I left off reading Nancy for many years (I.E. before the internet and no money for newspaper subscriptions), but when I rediscovered the strip, I was immediately impressed by your work. Now, it is one of my favorites again. You do a tremendous job. Thank you.
