Now, if you want to have some end-of-summer fun, grab one of those lines and wrap it around the others. Oh, drat! No hands.

Swim in a school below the hooks to create a vortex which will entangle all the lines!

Something ‘fishy’ about this, if fish were that intelligent, fisherman would never catch a thing.

Empty hooks aren’t gonna catch any fish. You gotta put some bait on ‘em.

Sometimes it seems the fish are smarter than they are. Especially bream. Dang bait stealer.

Sea robins, too, John Pike. Ugliest, most useless fish in the sea.

Compared to Gars in fresh water? I’ve never fished in the ocean, so, honest question.

Note: They’re ALREADY in a school!!!!

Aside: Anyone else see the story of the giant school of shark tracking and devouring a giant school of tuna off Austrailia?

Sheik has the day off. His hook is the fourth from the left.

None of the little fishies are going for the bait… looks like they learned something in school! :)

My youngest son likes to fish so we got a license last visit and spent 2 whole days where we hung out at a stocked public park and he tried (others caught some) but he only got some throw backs. At least we had a good time in the park with my new parrot.

I agree with the comment about bait. Why should school be a drag? I taught for many years and if I were losing my students my concern was why should such great stuff feel so boring.

My Dad once hooked a starfish while drag fishing in the bay… Didn’t know there were starfish in NY.
