Shouldn’t the mime be the one on trial instead of being the witness?

Do those 5 fingers mean he’s “taking the 5th”?

I asked before and I’ll ask again- if a mime falls in the woods and there’s noone around to hear, does he make a sound? And who died and made Marcel God for the oath?

Is he trapped in the witness box? Will he ever be able to get out before his oxygen is used up? Do we care?

If he swears to tell the truth is he lying when he acts like he is trapped in a box?

Agreed with keenanthelibrarian. This feels like something that would have been a hoot riot circa 1980 next to the latest Marmaduke.

Maybe Le Troisieme Oeii (the Third Eye) or the Story of Bip, both written by Marceau

None of this would happen in today’s courtrooms. With the dictators who sit on the bench now, who throw people in jail if they arrive late to a courtroom because they were directed to the wrong place, a witness who refused to speak would simply be sent off to the poky for contempt of court.

Marcel Marceau was a war hero. He and his younger brother, Alain, volunteered for the French resistance against the Nazis. Marceau used his skill as a mime to teach children how to be very quiet as he helped them escape to safety. His father was captured and sent to Aushwitz, where he died. But Marcel, his mother and brother managed to stay free. He had an amazing life….

ypoons…not necessarily involuntary. Some people can swallow air and burp at will for as long as they feel like it…I heard one guy burp Happy Birthday….Wouldn’t that be close to speaking?
