Most Republiclan presidential are issued these as soon as they declare. In fact, it’s probably the reason they declare.

It’s ok for Kate to retreat to a book, even if she has chores, apparently. Not so Danae. I begin to understand why Danae is the way she is…

I like the term “bubble of dillusion”. I think it more accurately describes where Danae’s head is at.

Everybody should have one, whether a Cone of Silence, or an Orb of Equanimity. Spend about twenty minutes a day there, even if nobody else can see it. Just watching the trees grow.If you’re thinking all the time (self-talk), what else but that talk is there to think about? NO words, no descriptions. Just BE.

Seems to work about as well as the Sphere of Silence on “Get Smart”.

There was nothing wrong with Darsan54’s spelling or grammar; he merely forgot to type the word, “candidates”. And saying a politician lives in any sort of bubble is hardly a lack of comprehension. I suspect he merely made the mistake of supporting a political party which is not the one you support. In other words, it seems likely you define “lack of comprehension” as not holding the same beliefs as you.

@Darsan54Your spelling and your grammar are on the same level as your comprehension.-———————————-Actually, it is your comprehension which is off.His spelling and grammar are quite correct. He did, however omit the word, “candidate” from his comment. (Given the rest of the sentence, it is easy to recognize the omission.)

Given Danae’s personality, I’d think Kate and Dad would be happy to grant her time in her sphere of serenity, as it would result in peace and quiet for them as well.

Danae isn’t after serenity but attention. She listens very attentively for whatever reaction her silliness evokes and then reacts to it as if they are interrupting her serenity. She simply doesn’t want to be left alone. If she was left alone in her “Sphere” she’d be bored stiff in 5 minutes and would move to something else. Katy isn’t tattling … she and her Dad are just on the same page… “Danae is at it again”. Whatever “it” is this time.Wiley seems to have an endless number of “its” for Danae and the big question is what’s he going to come up with the next time.I get the feeling that Danae is Wiley.

Darsan54 did spell “Republican” wrong-—————————————-Quite right, the word Republican was misspelled, and I failed to notice. My dyslexia strikes again.

There’s one omitted word; other than that, there are no detectable spelling or grammar errors in Darsan54’s comment. .So much for the level of your comprehension.

Why would you find a “Clan of Republicans” unusual? That’s usually how they Present themselves to the voters a Election time. Trot out every relative who looks halfway presentable in front of a TV Camera..Of course, judging by the way most of them Vote and Act, I’m pretty sure many of them get those attractive “Family Members” from the local “Rent a Grandchild” franchise.

One thing that is pretty constant here: Danae is Such an Easy Target sometimes. Kate always seems to be able to hit the Button perfectly..

At the risk of annoying people, I ONLY pointed out that Darsan54 spelled “Republican” wrong (which I would point out to Meowlin, but there’s that whole thing of me not wanting to annoy people…….) I didn’t mention he left out the word “candidate” because I wasn’t quite sure which word he did leave out. And for me, at least, the “visual” I had in mind of the Republican “clan” was a bunch of old men standing around in their kilts of many colors…….

Boy!! I thought this space was for comments on the strip and not an insult/chat room (I came here to be insulted. No you didn’t). Pretty hard to work politics or religion into today’s strip.
