Eddie: Once again, we'ah stuck in the void of futility. Yaw can't navigate heah......'Cuz all rational pah-ception is lost. Theah's no up or down, so ya just float. The moah ya try to make sense of it, the moah dizzy ya get. Then yawr senses go numb...all except one......The void reeks of old gahbage. So all ya can do is drift helplessly until it's ovah......And hope the stink doesn't stick to ya. Flo: Ok, ok...the TV stays off until the end of this election cycle. *KL!K* Ned and Eddie: THANKS

It won’t matter. The minute the election winner is declared, all the ones who didn’t get the nomination will start running again. (Huckabee? Check. Santorum? Check. Paul? Which one? Rand, Ru, Chris or Mrs.?)Remember, Kanye West already announced his candidacy for 2020.

Sorry, but I enjoy wallowing in politics…It’s the only game that can effect your life or end it, even if you’re not playing…………I just try not to do it here….Great cartoon, though…Artwork and everything……The little gas mask on Pauly is precious….

so people ignore the election then a bad government gets elected and everybody asks “how did this happen”?

Man! I was so hoping it was going to be a “Charlie” strip today. Ah well, another dream shattered.

Just when will that be? Nov. ’16 is more than a year away.

Politics stinks. I get it.

Love it when people who vote blame the government we have on those who opt not to vote for anyone running. If someone gets elected, it’s because of the people who voted for them, not because of the people who didn’t. That’s like blaming peaceful, law-abiding citizens for the criminals that are ruining things. No, it’s the criminals and those who support them by voting for them.

When the total number of voters crashes (the last midterms had the worst turnout in DECADES), the total number of moderate (or slightly conservative or slightly liberal) voters crashes. Therefore more extremists from both parties get elected, and they won’t cooperate with one another, and therefore problems don’t get solved, they just keep festering.

Fighting Ocean garbage and political election cycles. Is there a difference? Mystery: what is the name of Eddie’s cat? It has real persaverence.

This is the result of a “democracy” where everyone, absolutely everyone, gets to vote for the highest officeholders as well as the local representatives. This sort of foolishness, that we all seem to abhor, would not be as much of a problem if we had stayed true to the “republic” we were originally given by the Constitution. But the “progressives” would rather have a manipulative process.

Where only wealthy white landowners vote? I’m sure it works well for them.

Thank heavens up here in the Great White North our election is over in about 6 more weeks, and that federally this only happens about once every 4 years as opposed to the seemingly endless election cycle in the States.

I love the accents/pronunciations of words in this strip. Distinct, and they add so much to the dialogue.

You wouldn’t have to go through this anymore if you would all come to your senses and acclaim me emperor.

The TeaOP definition of “Cooperation” & “Bi-Partisan” is: “Just Do as WE Demand and No One Gets Hurt”..

This is what you get when you let anyone take out a political ad saying anything they want. Some people are making a pretty penny off this TV election cycle. Some, like the Koch’s and Adelson are spending millions on ads. TV and landline phones are going to get intolerable in swing states. I refuse to give any of them money. It only feeds the machine.
