The fact that the Republicans are going to fall short again in their attempt to remove Obama Care is exactly why trump has picked a fight with black players in the NFL and NBA. Smoke and mirrors to distract from another failure. And his simple minded base will eat it up.

How do you keep dictators from aquiring nuclear weapons? Blow up the planet with our nuclear weapons before they can use theirs.

More than a few conservative pundits (and a few former Republican Senators and whatnot) have publicly stated that Trump has lost his moral compass (if, indeed, Trump had one at any point). I keep expecting there to be a tipping point, and at least some current Republican office-holders will comment on something that is dead obvious. Then the dominoes will start to fall…….

this is a metaphor for the artist. his objection to our current president is like the Titantic vs the iceberg. The foolish need to be right and first is sinking his grasp on reality.

Dear Wiley, you are on a roll and that pretty much explains what Confefe means. Why fix something affordably, when you can just destroy it and spend much, much more, and hurt people while you do it. That would definitely fit the Republicans plan on about anything, even before Trump.

If Wiley has given over his entire strip to satirical support for the Democratic Party, I have other places to be.

As for Trump’s ignorant and dishonest comments about the NFL players protesting for social justice: it is very odd that he will call his fellow United States citizens “sons of you know what”, but he constantly praises Vladimir Putin, a man (to use the term loosely) who is (a) a ruthless mass-murdering dictator (b) a war criminal © an enemy of the United States of America (d) an enemy of all democracies and (e) an enemy of the very concepts of democracy, freedom and human rights.

NFL and this strip now are in the same email league. Sad.

God Almighty! Do even the comics have to be political? Editorial comics yes, but I didn’t expect it here.

Um, just a comment…I think “port” would translate more like “pawt”. “Paht” is what you have in your hair. Or maybe in the school pay. (from Married-to-a-Mainer; and no, they never completely lose the accent — thank heaven!)
