What? No Danae?

Those are the Graevsytes, a family very loosely based on The Addams Family of Charles Addams.

Since this is a political cartoon, I feel justified in making a suggestion regarding the Kremlin Kandidate’s government. When the Soviet Union fell apart, it was replaced by what came to be known as a Kleptocracy (Greek kleptos = thief and kratos = authority). The United States now has the world’s first Prodosiocracy (Greek prodosia = treason).

Methinks – Hair on fire would give that screaming analysis a lot more potency.

Not sure if I can trust this expert’s analysis — too much jargon.

Perhaps she’s screaming because her failed worldview is crumbling in the face of an unforgiving reality.

Perhaps she is screaming because our government is in the hands of insane people who are destroying what used to be America and are rebuilding it in their own ugly, racist and greedy image. Please don’t vote for people like that.

Sorry about this one, but it so reminded me of the whole “screaming impotently at the sky” thing.

Watching and listening to the news I feel like screaming too.

She’s FAR too qualified to work for FAUX. Maybe Alex Jones will give her a job…

I know this artist leans towards a particular party but that comic could actually apply to either side.

It could be about either the left or the right. Both sides screaming.

Yeah, because no-go zones are working so well in France and the rest of europe.

I really dig these occasional appearances by the Graevsytes. They could be their own comic, like Addams did with his.

I really appreciate cartoons like Wiley’s because they are, themselves, quite humorous and editorially ‘sharp’ and at the same time seem to bring out Posters such as “JosephMetcalfe1”, “randys41” and “twincaman” from beneath their conservative “rocks” to remind the world that ignorance, perversity and mendacity still are very much in evidence in this world of ours.

The “Alternate Universe” is very much alive and well!

I’ll take the shriek any day rather than more of the same vacuous “analysis”

My only comment is that this cartoon expresses what I can’t put into words—it’s exactly what I feel! Thanks!

Did anyone notice King Kong on the building at the back? Wiley’s cartoons reward with a lot of in depth scrutiny.

Well, that about sums it all up.

I’ve always wished that someone with Talent could do an Addams Family movie featuring the Adult Wednesday Addams.

But, only if they could get both Christina Ricci, a really Good script and a Director who understands that Slapstick ruins the whole thing.
