Saw something real sort of like this. I hiked to the top of Yosemite Falls and went a little ways upstream of the falls. There are some low wide rocks guiding the stream toward the falls. About two hundred feet downstream from where I was soaking my feet in the river, the banks of the river quickly turned into steep canyon walls. There was a steep turn in the river and it was only about a hundred feet after that turn to the falls. I expect some early explorers either had to do some very hard back paddling or else went over the falls to their death.
We were in Niagara Falls last month and looking for a guided bus tour. One company (I swear this is true) was known as “Over the Falls Bus Tours”. I can’t imagine how they stay in business.

Who’s getting the thrill?

It’s what comes after the tunnel of love: a huge sense of weightlessness, and it’s all downhill from there.

Seems like they have rebranded the tunnel – originally ’twas “up the creek without a paddle”

Like your first sexual encounter, the thrill only comes once (there’s a joke in there I will NOT touch… ;-) )

Making sense of the current political scene is like that. About equal to looking for the tenth planet when we can’t even agree on the ninth.

Should be the Tunnel of Spills (truth in advertising and all).

We’ll remember when I first fell for you but probably that won’t be for long. You were my first crush.

When the thrill is gone so are you. The thrill is short, but so is your life.

You can tell it’s not a political cartoon when the likes outnumber the comments almost three to one. Poli strips are the reverse.
