That calls for a Venn diagram of the things you forgot and then remembered versus the things you forgot and didn’t remember. But logically, that diagram would be impossible to create.

I thought the sign was meant for the people in government, particularly for the politicians once they’ve been elected.

Mostly, people you wouldn’t want to know, but still, people.

Sign pretty much applies to everyone, as Gilbert wrote in Ruddigore, “Duty, duty must be done – the rule applies to everyone.”

Sorry, Afghanistan distracted me.

Government not only messes with our middle class heads, but rapes, pillages and plunders our wallets.

I remember everything I say I am going to do. Particularly if I really don’t mean to do it when I say it.

Messing with us (and our RNA)… they say: get a booster shot because the first one didn’t work like we thought it would.

Old saw: Memory is the second thing to go. . . .I forget the first.

Did you forget shoelaces?

Did you remember that you decided, that what you said you were going to do, wasn’t a good idea.

I’ve learned that when I walk into a room to do something and can’t remember what, if I back out of the room to the place I last remember standing, it helps (I dread the day that I find myself doing it several times in succession). I actually did this years ago when I couldn’t remember my hotel room number and no one was at the desk. I backed away from the desk and down the hall and located my room on the first try. Since then, I carry that key sleeve with the room number on it in another pocket.

Gosh, I need all the help I can get with my brain it sure needs unscrambling right now.

Old people will not remember any of that. What they intended to do and whether they did it or not.
