For those who haven’t been watching children’s TV in the US, SpongeBob SquarePants is a cartoon that has been on Nickelodeon since 1999 and is one of the programs that makes parents glad when their kids get older. It has won many awards and is considered educational; but my grandchildren always preferred the Octonauts—another underwater children’s cartoon.
