Good grief!

One I learned, if the Sun comes up looking like a baseball, your life is going to take a very interesting turn (Google “Mr. Sack” for those who are lost).

And all it cost is a nickel.

Sometimes when adults speak, it’s just like “Wah wah wah wah wah.”

While you can hope and wish for things and people to change, some people will always pull away the football just before you can kick it.

I’ve had my doubtful phase (Charlie Brown), my crabby phase (Lucy) and my analytical phase (Linus). I am now in my Snoopy phase – delusional but happy.

Before Peanuts, in my 1950s childhood we had Nancy and Sluggo, Little Lulu and Tubby, and of course Dennis the Menace (from Menacepotamia). Also the Jackson Twins and one few people remember, Patsy Walker, a reach out to little girls.

Works for me.
