After dinner, the expectation was that we’d all sit around and talk. But it never worked out that way

Due to expected circumstances, my beagle and I are having dinner together. I won’t eat her food and she can’t have all of mine. Everyone else went out of town and I can’t do long drives. I had to go too far for testing last week and I am still feeling the aftereffects from it. (Vertigo and fatigue greatly increased, hopefully temporarily.) I have all of the necessary foods here, at least. Christmas will be the same. Once I have ear surgery(ies?) I will be able to rejoin the human race without pain from sounds. Maybe next year. Enjoy, everyone!
